The L2 ring road was closed this Wednesday, September 3, following a "technical incident." As of Wednesday morning, no time had been announced for traffic to resume.

A difficult morning for regular commuters on the L2 ring road . The route was temporarily closed in both directions early in the morning of Wednesday, September 3, the prefecture said in a statement published on social media.

"Following a technical incident on the A507 - L2 ring road, it is currently closed in both directions," the prefect informed.

Motorists are advised to use the Prado-Carénage tunnels or the secondary network "pending the reopening" of the ring road.

Heavy goods vehicles should head towards the A8 or A52. No information on a possible return to normal during the day has been communicated so far this Wednesday morning.

"Information will be communicated as soon as this infrastructure reopens," assures the prefecture.
